Manatt, Phelps & Phillips LLP is seeking a Manager of Strategic Growth - Consulting to lead the firm’s national recruiting strategy with emphasis on Consulting. Location options include Washington, DC or New York, with reporting to the Director of Strategic Growth Consulting.

The role involves shaping the annual growth plan, building candidate pipelines, supervising recruiting staff, and partnering with business leaders to source and hire top talent across the firm, while advancing diversity

Qualifications

8+ years of recruiting experience required.
Experience recruiting within a professional services consulting environment, preferably health care professional services, is required.
Experience interfacing with leaders and hiring managers regarding recruitment is required.
Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and direct sourcing of candidates is required.
Experience managing and mentoring others is required.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Exceptional relationship-building skills and client service oriented: can effectively interface with attorneys and consultants at all levels, staff, school administrators, and recruiters.
Able to effectively communicate your work, clearly delegate tasks to others, and mentor junior level team members towards growth and success.
Strong organizational/attention to detail skills: accurate, precise, and follows up regularly and appropriately.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement the annual recruiting strategy and pipelines.
Source and screen candidates for roles across the firm.
Oversee interviewing, offers, and onboarding with partners and Talent Management.
Lead employer branding and candidate experience initiatives.
Collaborate with departments to recruit, onboard, and integrate candidates.
Manage and mentor recruiting staff with performance guidance.
