Job summary

YMCA of the USA is seeking a results‑oriented leader to drive member experience at a Jacksonville branch. You will oversee Membership, Family Programs/KidZone, and Sports departments, ensuring excellent customer service while meeting community needs.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of management experience in a YMCA or similar nonprofit. You will lead revenue generation, budgeting, staff development, and cross‑department collaboration to advance the Y’s mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, sports, recreation, or related field or equivalent.
• 5+ years of management experience, preferably in a YMCA or not-for-profit.
• Ability to direct operations including revenue generation, budgets, marketing, and program development.
• Knowledge of diverse populations preferred and ability to collaborate with community organizations.
• Experience defining and refining sales processes, policies, and staff development.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee year‑round programs to meet YMCA objectives and community needs.
• Develop and implement high‑quality member engagement strategies and revenue growth initiatives.
• Manage operating budgets and monitor targets to ensure financial health.
• Lead staffing: hire, train, coach, and evaluate employees; motivate teams to achieve goals.
• Ensure KidZone staffing adequacy and safety; work with leadership on governance and policy.
