Job summary

You will guide cross-functional teams, enable sales, and measure impact across markets, with a strong emphasis on growth and risk controls.

The role is hybrid with four onsite days weekly in major regional offices (Philadelphia focus) and optional remote work within the M&T footprint.

Qualifications

• 5 years of marketing experience (Or in lieu of a degree, a combination of 9 years of higher education and relevant experience)
• Experience in dealing with escalated issues and resolving unique and significantly complex problems
• Has demonstrated strong working relationships with internal and external partners
• Ability to research, evaluate and recommend changes to initiative or project
• Experience in mentoring and/or onboarding more junior talent
• Technical Expert and/or independent judgment

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain deep understanding of assigned line(s) of business, including strategic objectives, growth priorities, competitive landscape, target audiences, customer needs, and business challenges.
• Partner with business line leaders and key stakeholders to identify opportunities where marketing can accelerate business growth, improve customer engagement, or address business challenges.
• Develop and own data-driven marketing strategies aligned to business objectives, leveraging customer insights, market intelligence, performance data, and industry trends.
• Translate business goals into integrated marketing plans that leverage available marketing channels, capabilities, and resources to achieve desired outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional marketing teams to successfully execute strategic initiatives.
• Establish clear success metrics and performance measurement frameworks; analyze results and recommend optimization.
• Serve as the primary marketing advisor and point of contact for assigned business line leaders.
• Support sales enablement by developing messaging, positioning, training, and communications for sales teams.
