Job summary

Axon is seeking a Sr. Analyst on the Strategy & Corporate Development team to evaluate and execute M&A, investments and strategic initiatives. You will work with the executive team and product leaders on high-impact projects, including capital market transactions.

You’ll collaborate across functions to drive diligence, develop independent theses, and build out processes that become a core Axon competency. This role follows a hybrid schedule with in-office Tuesdays–Fridays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• 3+ years of experience at a top-tier firm focusing on M&A/investing/capital raising
• Proven M&A and investment process execution
• Expert Excel skills with financial modeling/valuation
• Advanced PowerPoint skills for executive presentations
• Strong hypothesis-driven problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to quickly grasp software and business technology markets
• Experience in synthesizing and communicating complex analysis clearly
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple critical projects
• Passion for Axon’s mission to Protect Life and societal impact

Responsibilities

• Develop deep understanding of Axon’s product offering, roadmap, competition, and ecosystem
• Perform quantitative/qualitative analyses on M&A and investment opportunities
• Partner with executives to formulate theses and determine prioritization for deals
• Lead end-to-end diligence and execution of M&A and investments
• Collaborate with product, sales, supply chain, finance, legal, and People Ops teams
• Develop processes into a core competency at Axon
• Prepare quarterly Board presentations on Strategy & Corporate Development
• Support capital structure roadmap with ad-hoc analyses
• Tackle ambiguous problems and own projects end-to-end
• Frame and influence strategic decisions with ownership and rigor
