Job summary

Element Six seeks a commercially driven Senior Business Development Manager to identify and secure long-term growth opportunities for diamond-based technologies across semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, defense and emerging tech sectors.

You will bridge market opportunities and technical innovation, build strategic partnerships, engage senior decision-makers, and shape market entry strategies with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of sales or business development experience in industrial applications with contract negotiations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science; MBA preferred.
• Experience in semiconductor industry is highly desirable.
• US citizen or Green Card holder preferred (if applicable).
• Excellent communication and writing skills; ability to engage senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new market opportunities and strategic customer relationships across semiconductor, defense, and industrial sectors.
• Build networks with key ecosystems to identify trends and unmet needs.
• Develop compelling business cases and growth strategies to support investments.
• Lead engagements, negotiations, and relationship development with executive stakeholders.
• Structure and negotiate partnerships, supply agreements, licensing arrangements, and other models.
• Collaborate with R&D, product, and commercial teams to align market requirements with roadmaps.
• Deliver annual opportunity development and market penetration plans.
