Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a Strategy & Insights Manager to drive growth for the Performance Coatings Group. You will deliver actionable market intelligence, strategic analysis, executive communications, and cross-functional project leadership in partnership with business, marketing, innovation, and leadership teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Finance, Strategy or Data Analytics or equivalent.
• 5+ years in strategy, market intelligence, business planning, consulting, or corporate development.
• Experience building strategic recommendations from data (quantitative and qualitative).
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and create executive-level presentations.

Responsibilities

• Support annual strategic planning: timelines, content, stakeholder engagement, performance tracking.
• Conduct market assessments, customer analysis, competitive intelligence, and benchmarking.
• Lead strategic projects from concept to implementation aligned with priorities.
• Develop executive presentations and strategic narratives for leadership meetings and boards.
• Build compelling business cases supported by data, insights, and financial considerations.
• Partner with marketing, innovation, commercial, and business leaders to support strategy.
• Monitor market trends and disruptive technologies to inform long-term growth.
• Facilitate cross-functional workshops and working teams to align priorities.
• Manage project plans, milestones, risks, dependencies, and communications.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to accelerate research, analysis, content, and workflow efficiency.
• Promote best practices in storytelling, presentation design, and data visualization.
