Job summary

Global Medical Response (GMR) seeks a Director of State and Local Government Partnerships to lead business development and contracting across the Alabama, Mississippi, or Florida panhandle.

The role focuses on developing strategies, building stakeholder relationships with EMS associations and other state bodies, and ensuring superior customer relations through regular client visits and education initiatives.

Qualifications

• BA in Business or equivalent experience.
• EMS experience required.
• Minimum five (5) years securing and maintaining cost effective contracts and new business.
• Minimum of three (3) years public and customer relations.
• Knowledge of pro-forma development and budget tracking.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement annual Business Development Plan with focus on revenue growth and new business.
• Maintain contracting knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing publications, and networking.
• Monitor contract performance and report assessments to VP of Operations.
• Meet with prospective clients to understand service issues and advocate for customers.
• Coordinate RFP responses for new or current business.
• Collaborate with regional directors for conference participation.
