Job summary

ICON Technology Group is recruiting a Director of Business Development to drive market strategy across Dallas–Fort Worth, positioning ICON’s robotic speed and material durability as the premier solution for visionary developers and institutional capital.

You will own the deal lifecycle from initial visioning to a signed contract, leading negotiations and coordinating with marketing, regulatory teams and project management to ensure smooth transitions and differentiated outcomes for the region.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of high‑performance experience in Business Development or Real Estate Development.
• Deep understanding of Dallas–Fort Worth real estate fundamentals including land use and regional costs.
• Ability to discuss robotics, architecture and advanced material science in technical terms.
• A Day One rolodex of local developers, investors and architectural influencers.
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Real Estate, Construction Management or related; MBA/MRED preferred.
• Proficient in leveraging AI tools (Claude, Gemini) to accelerate research and drafting.

Responsibilities

• Identify and penetrate market segments that benefit from ICON's robotics, speed and durability.
• Lead the regional Go/No-Go process vetting opportunities against ICON's capabilities.
• Own deal lifecycle from initial visioning sessions to signed contracts and handoff to PM teams.
• Negotiate Design-Build agreements aligning terms with ICON's requirements.
• Collaborate with regulatory teams and AHJs to navigate permitting and differentiate ICON from traditional GCs.
