Job summary

CBIZ in Miami seeks a Business Development Director to drive growth for the South Florida region and broader Southeast. You will engage with CEOs, CFOs, CROs, and other financial leaders to deliver CBIZ accounting, tax, and advisory services, while managing a robust pipeline and leading campaigns with cross-functional teams.

You will build trusted relationships, execute sales programs, and create detailed annual plans, reporting activity through Salesforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or accounting.
• Minimum of three years of direct sales experience.
• Industry knowledge.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities by engaging with CEOs and other financial leaders.
• Maintain a sustained pipeline of >$1.5 million in annual closed-won business.
• Lead sales campaigns with Client Service and Marketing teams.
• Conduct at least 20 sales appointments per month.
• Plan and report sales activity using Salesforce CRM.
• Deliver business development training to colleagues.
