Job summary

KBR is seeking a Senior Director, Business Development to lead strategic growth across the Exploration & Logistics portfolio. The role requires identifying, shaping, and winning new opportunities while building long-term customer relationships and growth strategies aligned with business objectives.

You will partner with division leadership, operations, architects, and executives to expand KBR’s presence in defense, federal civilian, logistics, and space exploration markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required.
• 10+ years in government/industry/business development and capture roles.
• Experience winning large opportunities with government customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic BD and capture plans.
• Identify, qualify, and shape new opportunities across defense, federal civilian, logistics, engineering, and exploration markets.
• Lead capture across the full lifecycle from opportunity identification to award.
• Build executive relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders.
• Develop customer engagement strategies to expand market presence.
• Coordinate with operations leadership to align growth with capabilities.
• Maintain a robust pipeline and implement win strategies.
