Job summary

Hines seeks a Director/Sr. Director of Corporate Development to translate growth priorities into coordinated delivery, from concept through launch and integration, collaborating with the COO and President. You will prepare executive decks and support for growth initiatives, guiding governance decisions and driving disciplined follow-through.

This role emphasizes project leadership, stakeholder coordination, and analytical rigor to shape strategic opportunities and partnerships across the firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university; MBA a plus.
• 6+ years of experience in corporate development, enterprise project execution, management consulting, investment banking, private equity, or related fields.
• Real estate or investment-management experience is valuable.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate complex, cross-functional initiatives and support transactions from evaluation through integration.
• Strong analytical, financial and commercial judgment, including business-case development and due diligence.
• Excellent executive writing and presentation skills for clear decisions and actions.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams without relying on direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Convert approved growth priorities into coordinated delivery and incubation of platforms.
• Advance concepts through thesis validation, market assessment, business case, governance, and launch planning.
• Prepare executive recommendations and support transaction structuring and negotiations.
• Track milestones, risks and decisions across priority incubation projects.
• Build productive relationships with internal partners and stakeholders across the organization.
• Use AI-enabled tools to improve research, preparation and efficiency.
