3M, Maplewood, MN-based Director, Strategy & Business Development role is on-site and focused on shaping the Consumer Business Group’s multi-year roadmap and leading key transformation initiatives. You will own end-to-end problem framing, hypothesis-driven analysis, and execution across portfolio strategy, revenue growth, and channel go-to-market, partnering with Finance, Marketing, and Supply Chain.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in CPG strategy or consulting, 5+ years building P&L and business

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher completed and verified prior to start.
• Seven (7) years of experience in consumer-packaged goods strategy, transformation, or related roles.
• Five (5) years of leading strategy or transformation projects end to end.
• Five (5) years building P&L, business-case, and scenario models.
• Five (5) years influencing across a matrixed organization (Finance, Marketing, Commercial, etc.).

Responsabilités

• Shape 3-year strategic roadmap for CBG with explicit revenue, margin and investment implications.
• Lead two to three priority transformation initiatives from framing to adoption and P&L impact.
• Evaluate and build business development opportunities— acquisitions, licensing, partnerships.
• Run annual operating planning and KPI definition with Finance.
• Prepare executive-ready materials for leadership and Board forums.
