Corporate Ladder Search Partners, Inc. is recruiting a Director of Finance for the Cleveland, Ohio area to lead financial planning, reporting, and strategic business partnering across manufacturing and life sciences segments.

The successful candidate will drive budgeting, FP&A, and cash management in a private‑equity backed environment, partnering with senior leadership to influence strategy, optimize working capital, and support acquisitions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's degree and/or CPA preferred.
• 8+ years in progressive accounting/finance roles, preferably in manufacturing/life sciences.
• Strong accounting, FP&A, financial analysis and operational finance experience.
• Experience budgeting, forecasting, modeling, and variance analysis.
• Inventory and cost accounting knowledge including COGS and gross margin.

Responsabilités

• Lead financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes.
• Provide financial leadership and business partnership to the President and senior leaders.
• Oversee monthly financial reporting, analysis, and board-level presentation.
• Analyze revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, working capital and cash flow.
• Develop and monitor KPIs to support business decision-making.
• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and Sales to improve profitability.
• Oversee financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses for growth.
• Lead month-end close, GAAP compliance, controls, and policies.
• Manage inventory, cost accounting, variances, and standard costs.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and banks.
• Support cash management and working capital optimization.
• Assist acquisitions with due diligence and post‑acquisition reporting.
