The Kimpton Cottonwood Hotel in Omaha seeks a dynamic Group Sales Manager to grow our group business and elevate guest experiences. You will drive group revenue, build lasting client relationships, and position The Cottonwood as a premier destination for meetings and events.

In this role, you’ll collaborate with hotel teams to tailor proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals, while delivering personal, attentive service that mirrors our luxury lifestyle ethos.

Qualifications

• Proven success in sales, preferably in hotel group sales or a related hospitality sales role.
• Strong prospecting, relationship-building, negotiation, and closing skills.
• A results-driven mindset with the ability to meet and exceed revenue goals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting to clients and industry partners.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts, priorities, and deadlines.
• The ability to analyze sales opportunities, understand market trends, and develop strategies that drive business.
• Proficiency with CRM systems, sales reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications; hotel sales system experience is a plus.
• A collaborative approach and the ability to build strong partnerships across hotel departments.
• A bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Sales, or a related field is preferred.
