Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Grants and Contracts Officer to provide budgetary and administrative support for pre-award management, assisting Principal Investigators with grant and contract proposals.

You will manage electronic submissions via grants.gov and NSF FastLane, prepare budgets, and help negotiate extramural awards. Strong communication and adherence to policies are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
• 2 years experience in grants/contracts.
• Familiar with FAR, PHS policies, OMB A-122/A-133.
• Experience with electronic grant submissions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in assessing funding opportunities and submitting applications/proposals for funds to governmental and non-profit entities.
• Manage electronic grant submissions via grants.gov, NSF Fastlane, and foundations' web-based applications.
• Prepare, review, negotiate, and administer extramural awards and related documents (CDA, MTA, Data Use, etc.).
• Liaise between institute management, accounting, investigators, and external organizations regarding sponsored research agreements/programs.
