Job summary

Allegheny Health Network seeks a Grants and Contracts Officer to provide budgetary and administrative support to Principal Investigators for all facets of pre-award management by facilitating the preparation and submission of grant and contract proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience as determined by the company.
• Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize based on submission date; handle confidential information with discretion.
• 2 years experience; familiarity with FAR, PHS policies, OMB A-122/A-133; electronic grant submissions via grants.gov/NSF FastLane.

Responsibilities

• Assist in assessing funding opportunities and submitting proposals to govt and non-profit entities.
• Manage electronic grant submissions via grants.gov, NSF FastLane and foundations' portals.
• Prepare, review and administer extramural awards; draft subagreements and data use/MTA documents.
• Coordinate communications between institute management, accounting, investigators and external organizations.
• Support annual budget processes and provide ad hoc reports to management.
