Job summary

Allegheny Health Network seeks a Grants and Contracts Officer to provide budgetary and administrative support to Principal Investigators for all facets of pre-award management by facilitating the preparation and submission of grant and contract proposals.

Responsibilities include managing submissions via grants.gov and NSF FastLane, budgeting for research, negotiating awards, and generating reports; requires Bachelor's degree and familiarity with FAR/A-122/A-133.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience as determined by the company
• 2 years experience
• Familiar with FAR, OMB Circulars A-122 and A-133; experience with electronic grant submissions via grants.gov and NSF FastLane
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

Responsibilities

• Assist Principal Investigators and staff in identifying funding opportunities and submitting grant proposals.
• Prepare, review, negotiate, and administer extramural awards and related documents.
• Serve as liaison among institute management, accounting, investigators and external partners.
• Support annual budgeting with program funding data.
• Generate ad hoc reports for management.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
