Job summary

PrimeCare Health, Inc. is seeking a Strategic Funding & Development Manager in Chicago to oversee grants writing, compliance, and development opportunities. The role also manages contract activities and cultivates funder partnerships, reporting to the CEO.

The position offers a hybrid work arrangement and requires 4–6 years in grant-writing and a relevant bachelor's degree. Health center experience is preferred, with a focus on growth and external fundraising initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in fund development, business administration, public health, health care administration, or related field.
• 4-6 years of work experience in grant-writing/development.
• Prior experience in health care organizations and with federally qualified health centers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Write and review grant applications and proposals, including drafting clear project narratives and collecting supporting documents.
• Compile and submit documents to request, maintain, and finalize funding opportunities per funder requirements and PrimeCare policies.
• Collaborate with finance team and external parties relating to grants oversight and funding requirements.
• Maintain compliance and manage report completion for programs (e.g., 330/HRSA grant funding, FTCA coverage, Office of Pharmacy Affairs compliance).
• Develop and maintain a funder database and provide monthly summaries to the CEO.
