Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or related field; Masters preferred (MPA/MPH/MHA).
  • Five years of progressive grants and contracts management experience; finance experience a plus.
  • Strong analytical abilities with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel (intermediate level).
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and ability to compile reports on financial status.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to manage pre‑ and post‑award activities.
  • Lead subcontract oversight, budget development, sponsor reporting, and closeout procedures.
  • Monitor compliance, review awards, and support data integrity in the Grants Tracking System.
  • Provide guidance to principal investigators and divisional leadership on financial strategies and renewals.
  • Mentor grants team members and drive divisional initiatives and process improvements.
