Richland Community College seeks a Grant Coordinator to lead the development, submission, administration and reporting of federal, state and private foundation grants. You will coordinate across the college, ensuring compliance and alignment with institutional goals, and provide stewardship to funding agencies.

You will work with faculty, staff and external partners, manage grant budgets, prepare required reports, and monitor performance measures to meet grant terms.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree plus 3-5 years’ experience (or Bachelor’s degree plus 1-3 years’ experience) in development and administration of state and federally funded grants, and with private foundations and corporations.
• Computer competency and excellent planning, organization and administration skills are required.
• Effective research and analytical skills with demonstrated leadership and organizational abilities.
• Must exercise a high degree of independent judgment, initiative, confidentiality and problem-solving.
• Must maintain effective written and oral communication with college departments and external partners.
• Familiarity with Grant Accountability and Transparency Act (GATA).

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement strategies to obtain public and private grant funding.
• Administer the annual schedule of grants aligning with the college's strategic plan.
• Identify and cultivate funding opportunities from government agencies, foundations and corporations.
• Coordinate grant applications and maintain final editing authority over proposals.
• Maintain communications with faculty and staff about funding opportunities and deadlines.
• Monitor progress toward grant performance measures and prepare required reports.
