Ziply Fiber is seeking a Local Government Relations Manager in Spokane to support network expansion by building relationships with local governments, utilities, and community leaders. This role serves as a liaison across jurisdictions, guiding permitting, right‑of‑way, and construction coordination while providing insights to internal teams for timely project execution.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years’ experience in a customer support centric environment.
• Experience working with local governments, public works, utilities, or related agencies (right-of-way, permitting, construction oversight).
• Experience navigating governmental processes, municipal codes, public works standards, and utility coordination across jurisdictions.
• Public policy/compliance implementation experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Applications.
• Ability to lead and manage projects and represent Ziply Fiber.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Engage with local leadership to address issues related to right‑of‑way, permitting, pole attachments, and utilities.
• Collaborate with leadership on known issues to resolve them timely.
• Maintain awareness of field issues and coordinate cross‑functional teams for resolution.
• Cultivate relationships with local government, chambers of commerce, and community groups.
• Support build areas with coordination between city/county/communities to address issues.
