Job summary

Southwest Range Services is seeking a Purchasing Agent to procure materials, equipment and services in support of customer requirements, ensuring compliance with FAR and company policies. You will coordinate with requisitioners, review specifications, and resolve procurement discrepancies to support complex government projects at White Sands Missile Range.

The role requires preparing RFQs/RFPs, evaluating proposals, issuing purchase orders/subcontracts, and monitoring vendor performance.

Qualifications

• Government purchasing experience with FAR knowledge.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Procure materials, equipment, supplies and services in support of company and customer requirements.
• Review purchase requests for adequacy, completeness and compliance.
• Prepare RFQs and RFPs; analyze proposals for pricing and conformance.
