The Building People, LLC, seeks a full-time Purchasing Agent to support government contracting activities from multiple locations including Tampa, FL. Candidates should have knowledge of procurement methods, familiarity with FPDS-NG and related systems, and at least two years of contract purchasing experience.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of solicitation and purchasing methods for government orders.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance throughout the purchasing process.
• Understanding of price evaluation and basic arithmetic.
• Experience with common government software for procurement.

Responsibilities

• Place government orders against established contracts and schedules.
• Conduct pre-award and post-award contracting actions.
• Ensure compliance with FAR and agency policies.
• Utilize FPDS-NG and other procurement software for documentation.
