Job summary

PROVATOHR INC is seeking a Government Contract Pricing Analyst to analyze, develop, and review cost estimates and pricing proposals for government contracts, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and the use of accurate, fair, and reasonable pricing.

You will collaborate with procurement, finance, and contract management to support bids, maintain compliance, and optimize pricing strategies via cost/price analysis, estimation, and modeling across diverse contract types.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of government contracting experience, preferably in CPFF or other cost-reimbursable environments.
• Understanding of FAR/DFAR, cost accounting, allocation, and financial controls.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, proposal software, and familiarity with government contracting systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• This is a consultant or part-time role. Flexible availability is a must.

Responsibilities

• Cost/Price Analysis & Proposal Development: Prepare and review complex cost/price proposals ensuring alignment with FAR/DFAR requirements.
• Pricing Strategy: Lead pricing efforts, identify price targets, perform risk/reward analyses, and develop tactics.
• Compliance & Compliance Review: Ensure pricing submissions comply with federal regulations and internal policies.
• Estimating & Modeling: Perform cost/price modeling and analyses for complex contracts.
• Support to Contract Administration: Assist in rate analysis and profitability reporting by product/service and customer.
• Collaboration: Work with capture, finance, legal, and technical teams to interpret requirements and develop competitive solutions.
• Review & Validation: Review cost/price proposals of others for accuracy and compliance.
