Job summary

RELX is seeking a Contracts Manager to support development, negotiation, execution, and ongoing management of U.S. government contracts for data and services. You will evaluate compliance, advise stakeholders, and lead complex negotiations with customers.

You will partner across functions to shape negotiation strategies, communicate risks, and secure required approvals to ensure timely contract delivery. This role requires strong commercial judgment and a focus on compliant execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; JD or equivalent legal experience preferred.
• 3+ years of experience contracting, negotiating, drafting, and managing federal, state, and local government contracts.
• Proven ability to independently negotiate, draft, execute, and manage complex commercial contracts and service orders.
• Ability to lead projects or key initiatives, contribute to team development, and support process improvement efforts.

Responsibilities

• Develop, negotiate, execute, and manage government contracts related to data/services.
• Evaluate contractual compliance and advise stakeholders on rights and obligations.
• Lead negotiations with internal and external customers; communicate risks and options clearly.
