Job summary

Covestro is a world-leading supplier of high-tech polymer materials and a pioneer in circular economy initiatives. We are seeking an experienced U.S. import compliance professional to join our Trade & Compliance team in the United States.

You will develop and oversee import processes, ensuring adherence to U.S. customs laws while coordinating with brokers, data reporting, and policy development for ongoing regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years in international trade compliance.
• Licensed customs broker is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review U.S. import compliance processes and manage related risks.
• Oversee import courier shipments, broker partnerships and documentation.
• Prepare periodic compliance reports using ACE and related analytics tools.
• Maintain desk procedures for Trade & Compliance requirements and data management.
