Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Tax Manager to lead the International tax accounting function, partnering with Treasury, Legal, Finance and Accounting. You will manage quarterly and year-end worldwide tax provisions per ASC740 and oversee Pillar Two top-up tax calculations.

You will lead a team based in Krakow, interact with diverse stakeholders, ensure SOX compliance, and bring deep knowledge of US GAAP, tax provisioning, and international compliance to the global tax team.

Qualifications

• Certified public accountant (CPA) or MST (or equivalent) required.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP ASC 740 and SEC regulations preferred.
• Experience with international tax provisions and top-up calculations a must.
• Experience communicating with stakeholders across Treasury, Legal, Finance and Accounting.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the Company's international tax accounting function, including quarterly and year-end worldwide consolidated tax provisions per ASC740.
• Oversee Pillar Two top-up tax and GloBE income calculations.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of complex income tax accounting concepts including purchase accounting and deferred taxes.
• Interact with stakeholders to ensure timely tax provisions and compliance.
• Oversee preparation of international statutory tax provisions and monitor regulatory developments.
• Ensure tax internal controls and SOX compliance.
