Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. seeks a Tax Manager to lead the international tax accounting function and partner with Treasury, Legal, Finance, and Accounting. You will oversee quarterly and year-end tax provisions and Pillar Two calculations.

You are a CPA and/or MST with 6+ years in corporate tax, deep US GAAP ASC 740 knowledge, and experience with Oracle or OneSource Tax Provision. The role includes SOX compliance and coordinating global tax reporting.

Qualifications

• CPA license and/or MST or equivalent required.
• Minimum 6 years of corporate tax experience in Big 4 or in-house.
• Strong knowledge of ASC 740 and SEC regulations.
• Extensive experience managing international tax provisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Experience with Oracle or OneSource Tax Provision.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the international tax accounting function, including quarterly and year-end tax provisions per ASC740.
• Oversee Pillar Two top-up tax and GloBE calculations.
• Demonstrate understanding of complex income tax accounting concepts and deferred taxes.
• Collaborate with Treasury, Legal, Finance, and Accounting teams.
• Oversee international statutory tax provisions preparation.
• Monitor tax regulatory changes and assess impact on the company.
• Maintain tax internal controls and SOX compliance.
