Qualifikationen

Aufgaben

• Execute Global Purchasing: Purchase finished goods and component materials from global manufacturers and suppliers based on organizational requirements and demand forecasts.
• Negotiate with suppliers on PO status, expediting, deferring, or canceling orders to maintain inventory levels.
• Production Scheduling Coordination: Provide direction to global manufacturers and suppliers regarding required dates and quantities.
• Inventory Analysis & Decision-Making: Generate and analyze inventory reports to optimize levels.
• Product Transfer & Buying Decisions: Make strategic decisions on purchasing or transferring product based on performance and market conditions.
• Issue Identification & Escalation: Identify shortages or capacity constraints and communicate solutions.
• Supply Chain Reliability Evaluation: Evaluate vendor reliability and align capacity with forecast.
• Business Planning Contribution: Provide supply chain insights for long- and short-term objectives.
• Process Measurement & Analysis: Chart and interpret key process measures to identify risks and improvements.
• Supplier Training & Support: Train suppliers on company systems and provide ongoing support.
• Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with internal and external customers.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with teams to ensure product availability.
