Ashley Furniture Industries in Wisconsin is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to manage the purchasing of finished goods and component materials from global manufacturers and suppliers, ensuring product availability while balancing cost and service levels across the supply chain. You will optimize inventory and maintain strong supplier relationships to meet customer demands.

This role involves negotiating purchase orders, expediting or deferring orders as needed, coordinating production schedules

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in supply chain planning or procurement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with pivot tables and VLOOKUP.

Responsibilities

• Execute Global Purchasing: Purchase finished goods and component materials from global manufacturers and suppliers.
• Negotiate with suppliers on purchase orders and manage expediting/cancellations.
• Coordinate production scheduling with global manufacturers to meet demand.
• Analyze inventory reports and optimize levels based on cost and service.
• Make strategic decisions on product transfers based on performance and market conditions.
• Identify shortages or constraints and escalate with solutions.
• Evaluate supply chain reliability and align capacity with demand forecasting.
• Contribute to long- and short-term business planning with insights.
• Chart and measure key processes to identify risks and improvements.
• Train suppliers on Ashley's systems and portals and maintain relationships.
