Job summary

Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. in Orlando, FL is seeking a Global Sourcing Manager to lead a team of supply chain professionals and ensure on-time delivery of materials and services for power generation systems.

You will manage supplier relationships, drive cost reductions, implement standardized sourcing processes, and mentor staff to achieve high performance while aligning with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 8+ years of Supply Chain Management experience.
• 1+ year of demonstrated leadership leading high-performing teams.
• Strong change management and organizational leadership capabilities.
• Proven experience enhancing corporate culture and driving employee engagement.
• Strong strategic thinking, organizational agility, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Six Sigma and/or Lean Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Deep knowledge of SAP and Ariba systems.
• Experience supporting combustion turbines, steam turbines, generators, auxiliary equipment, and balance of plant (BOP) systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SAP.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team procuring materials, equipment, tools, Mitsubishi Power-designed parts, third-party spare parts, and services.
• Develop and implement standardized sourcing processes and best practices.
• Support supplier qualification activities and evaluations.
• Develop, maintain, and communicate supplier performance evaluations.
• Drive initiatives to reduce rework through process improvements and training.
• Support cost reduction initiatives to meet profitability targets.
• Improve supplier performance related to on-time delivery, quality, and value.
• Manage departmental budgets and resources.
• Lead employee development, coaching, and performance reviews.
• Foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
