Job summary

This role requires strong collaboration with estimating, engineering, manufacturing, quality, and shipping teams. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in international purchasing, ERP proficiency, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school graduate or GED.
• BS in Business Administration or Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years’ experience as an international purchasing agent or similar.
• Experience with PCBAs and electrical components is a plus.
• Strong experience with ERP systems and MS Office (Excel/Word).
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Negotiates and administers contracts with suppliers and vendors.
• Leads evaluation and monitoring of contract performance for compliance.
• Leverages vendors to create cost savings on projects.
• Maintains purchasing data in the ERP system.
• Analyzes price proposals to determine reasonable prices.
• Balances cost and quality to procure best value at scale.
• Develops schedules and performance plans to meet goals.
• Adheres to laws, regulations, and internal policies for procurement.
• Collaborates with estimating, purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, quality, and shipping.
• Interacts with a global network of suppliers and customers.
