Job summary

Zebra Technologies is seeking a Global Category Manager for Memory & Semiconductors to lead strategic sourcing across a high-value hardware portfolio. You will shape multi-year plans, align supplier capabilities with engineering roadmaps, and act as a trusted advisor to executives in a global, fast-moving market.

The role requires a strong background in semiconductor markets, risk management, and complex deal negotiations, with 8+ years of experience and a US residence in a hybrid 3/2 schedule

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or Finance.
• 8+ years of progressive strategic sourcing and category management experience; 3–5 years in semiconductor/memory or complex electronic components.
• Must reside in the US with a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote) in Lincolnshire, IL; Holtsville, NY or Austin, TX.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute multi-year category strategies for Memory and Semiconductors.
• Monitor market trends, risks, and pricing cycles; mitigate supply disruptions.
• Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing events and negotiate global master agreements and pricing models.
• Manage executive-level supplier relationships; drive quarterly business reviews and cost improvements.
• Collaborate with Hardware Engineering, Product Management, and Supply Chain to optimize design-for-supply chain resilience and total cost of ownership.
