Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific invites a Senior Manager of Procurement/Sourcing to develop global category strategies and lead cross-functional teams optimizing spend. You will negotiate global agreements, mentor procurement professionals, and drive multi-year sourcing initiatives across regulated environments.

Candidates should have advanced degrees with 6+ years in procurement/sourcing, strong negotiation and stakeholder skills, and proven leadership in matrix organizations.

Qualifications

• As a Senior Manager, you will develop multi-year category strategies and guide cross-functional teams to optimize spend.
• You’ll negotiate global agreements and mentor procurement professionals across the organization.
• Experience in procurement/sourcing within large matrix organizations with global responsibility is required.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills with executive-level presentation abilities.
• Experience in regulated industries (life sciences, pharmaceutical, medical device preferred) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute multi-year category strategies to reduce total cost of ownership.
• Lead complex, cross-functional sourcing initiatives and stakeholder collaboration.
• Negotiate and manage supplier relationships and contracts globally.
• Mentor procurement teams and coach talent development.
• Apply AQSCIR methodology to sourcing and category management.
