Job summary

BorgWarner Arden campus is seeking a Sr. Commodity Buyer to lead cross-functional teams, manage supplier relationships, and drive value through cost reductions in turbocharger components and related systems.

You will manage supplier bases, execute strategic sourcing projects, and ensure alignment with quality and delivery goals in a TS16949/IATF environment. The role requires a 4-year degree, 3–5 years of purchasing experience in automotive/manufacturing, and strong negotiation and

Qualifications

4-year degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing or related field required.
1–3 years of project management experience preferred.
3–5 years of purchasing experience in automotive/manufacturing environments.
Demonstrated analytical能力, cross-functional collaboration, and strong communication/negotiation skills.
CPM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage supply base for assigned commodities to meet quality, delivery, and cost goals.
Lead cross-functional teams to execute value-creating projects and drive cost reduction.
Manage project scope, budget, and schedule with SAP change control and stakeholder alignment.
Negotiate long-term agreements for series production components and services.
Support global corporate purchasing activities and interface with engineering and manufacturing.
Prepare RFQs for multi-year production quantities and communicate progress to senior management.
