Job summary

TPI Composites, Inc. in Scottsdale, AZ, is seeking a Commodity Manager to design and drive sourcing strategies for direct material categories, manage supplier relationships, and negotiate critical contracts to support manufacturing operations.

You will collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Finance to align procurement with business goals, lead RFI/RFP/RFQ processes, and continuously improve total cost of ownership across assigned categories.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, business, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing and procurement.
• Proven ability to develop and execute comprehensive supply chain strategies that deliver cost savings and improve efficiency.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams to align on category strategies.
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record of favorable terms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned commodity categories.
• Conduct market and supplier analysis to identify opportunities.
• Manage RFI/RFP/RFQ processes and vendor negotiations focusing on TCO.
• Evaluate and qualify new suppliers based on financial health, compliance, and capability.
• Establish and maintain partnerships with key suppliers to ensure performance and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Finance to align sourcing with project needs.
• Analyze spend, market trends, and savings to report procurement performance.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and promote responsible sourcing.
