Job summary

The City of Aurora is seeking a GIS/CMMS supervisor within the Parks, Recreation & Open Space (PROS) department. Lead a team delivering asset-centric spatial information and reliable technical solutions.

You will develop strategy, mentor staff, coordinate across divisions, and drive innovative GIS/CMMS initiatives to meet current and future goals. Required are a Bachelor’s in GIS or related field, 5 years GIS experience, 2 years CMMS experience, and strong leadership and project management

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in GIS, Geography, Asset Management, drafting or related field.
Five years of GIS operating experience and two years of Asset Management/CMMS experience.
Two years supervisory and project management experience preferred.
GISP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement a GIS and CMMS strategic plan and vision.
Lead, supervise, and evaluate PROS GIS and CMMS staff.
Coordinate, prioritize, and assign tasks to team members.
Manage service desk tickets and adherence to KPIs.
Scope, coordinate, and support technology projects with internal teams and vendors.
