Job summary

City of Aurora seeks a GIS/CMMS Supervisor in the PROS department to lead a team delivering high‑quality asset‑centric GIS and CMMS solutions. You will develop strategic plans, mentor staff, and coordinate with Planning, Park Operations, Open Space, Forestry, and Recreation to improve operations.

The role requires a Bachelor's in GIS/related field with 5+ years in GIS and 2+ years in CMMS/asset management, plus strong leadership and project management skills. Competitive pay and strong benefits.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in GIS, Geography, Asset Management, drafting or related field.
Five (5) years of GIS operating experience.
Two (2) years of Asset Management/CMMS experience.
Two (2) years supervisory experience (preferred).
Two (2) years project management experience (preferred).
Three (3) years municipal organization experience (preferred).
GISP certification (preferred).
Knowledge of Esri GIS software, ArcGIS Online, CMMS/EAM.

Responsibilities

Lead, supervise, and evaluate PROS GIS and CMMS staff; provide mentorship and performance evaluations.
Develop and implement a GIS and CMMS strategic plan and vision.
Partner with Planning, Design & Construction, Park Operations, Open Space, Forestry, Golf, Recreation, and Business Services.
Manage service desk tickets and KPIs; coordinate training and hiring processes.
Identify efficiencies, automate where appropriate, and drive integrations.
Draft procedures and technical standards for GIS/CMMS; liaison with City teams.
