Job summary

City of Aurora’s Parks, Recreation & Open Space (PROS) Department seeks a seasoned GIS/CMMS Supervisor to lead the GIS and CMMS teams, delivering asset-centric spatial information and reliable technical solutions.

You will guide staff, develop a vision for enterprise systems, coordinate with Planning, Design & Construction, Park Operations, Open Space, Forestry, Golf, Recreation, Marketing and Business Services, and ensure effective service desk management.

Qualifications

Five (5) years of GIS operating experience.
Two (2) years of Asset Management/CMMS experience.
Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Asset Management, drafting or related field.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement a GIS and CMMS strategic plan and vision.
Coordinate across Planning, Design & Construction, Park Operations, Open Space and Forestry, Golf, Recreation, Marketing, and Business Services to enhance GIS/CMMS practices.
Lead, supervise, and evaluate PROS GIS and CMMS staff and manage workload.
Manage service desk tickets and KPIs; coordinate internal and external projects.
Identify efficiencies including automation and integrations; establish standards and training.
