Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a General Manager III - Distribution to oversee operations at our Forest Park facility. You will lead warehouse management, ensuring compliance with safety regulations while optimizing processes for efficiency.

The ideal candidate has over 5 years of managerial experience, preferably in supply chain or logistics, and is equipped to foster a strong team culture while maintaining customer satisfaction. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managerial/supervisory experience required.
• 2+ years of experience in supply chain, warehousing or distribution environment required.
• Experience in Third Party Logistics (3PL) and/or Contract Logistics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the warehouse.
• Develop strategies to optimize warehouse processes.
• Lead and motivate a team of Operations Managers and staff.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Utilize technology to track inventory and monitor performance.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure cost-effective services.
• Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse performance.
• Maintain customer relationships for strong satisfaction.
