DHL Supply Chain is seeking a General Manager II for our Distribution Center in Forest Park, GA. This role oversees daily warehouse operations, drives cost efficiency, and ensures regulatory compliance while leading a team of managers and staff.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of managerial experience, strong financial acumen with site-level P&L responsibility, and a track record in regulated environments. Quality, 3PL exposure, and customer-facing strengths are highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety compliance and oversee operations to maintain a safe, clean working environment.
• Utilize WMS, automation, and technology to track inventory and performance metrics.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure cost-effective services and supplies.
• Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse performance and inventory levels.
• Lead customer relationships with daily contact to ensure satisfaction.
• Responsible for site's P&L, influenced by customer relationships.
• Prepare and present Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews (MBR/QBR) to customers.

DHL Supply Chain is looking for a General Manager II that would support our Distribution Center facility in the Forest Park, GA area.

This General Manager II role will be responsible for supporting operations in a regulated warehouse/distribution environment. Experience working in a regulated environment is required and may come from any regulated industry, including but not limited to pharmaceutical, healthcare, food and beverage, medical device or chemical...etc. A strong financial background is required for this role. The ideal candidate should have some experience managing site-level financial performance, including P&L responsibility, labor management, productivity, cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end financial processes. A background in Quality would be a strong plus for this role.

Job Description:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods efficiently and accurately.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse processes, minimize costs, and maximize productivity.
• Lead and motivate a team of Operations Managers and staff, providing coaching, guidance, and support as needed, while also developing a strong team culture.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, and oversee operational and personnel activities in the facility to maintain a safe, clean, and efficient working environment.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS), automation and other technology to track inventory, monitor performance metrics, and identify areas for improvement.
• Manage vendor relationships, and ensure cost-effective services and supplies while managing the site in accordance with the commercial agreement.
• Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and other key metrics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead customer relationships by maintaining close daily contact to ensure strong connections and customer satisfaction.
• Responsible for the site's profit and loss (P&L), which is directly influenced by customer relationships.
• Prepare and present Monthly/Quarterly Business Review (MBR/QBR) to customer, leveraging strong team collaboration.

Preferred / Required Experience:

• 5+ years managerial/supervisory experience, required
• 2+ years of experience in a supply chain, warehousing or distribution environment, required
• Experience in Third Party Logistics (3PL) and/or Contract Logistics, preferred
• Experience leading a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics operation is preferred.
• Strong financial acumen with site-level P&L responsibility is strongly preferred.
• Experience working in a regulated or compliance-driven environment is required.
• Strong customer-facing experience is required.
• Quality Assurance background is preferred.

The General Manager II role has a national salary range of $105,000 - $135,000 pending the experience level of the candidate and the location of the position.
