Job summary

McWane, LLC is seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead Tyler Pipe site, setting strategic direction and accountable for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity. Lead senior management across engineering, manufacturing, maintenance, supply chain, and labor relations to achieve growth and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership in world-class/heavy industrial manufacturing, including at least 5 years in senior supervisory roles.
• Proven track record improving safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and customer service.
• Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, or comparable methodologies.
• Experience leading large-scale industrial manufacturing operations; metal manufacturing/foundry/fabrication experience a plus.
• Experience working with represented employees and managing labor relations in a union environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for the facility to achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, customer service, and financial goals.
• Maintain accountability for operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement through Lean and structured problem solving.
• Align manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, supply chain, inventory, logistics, and workforce resources with demand and growth strategies.
• Lead development and execution of operating and capital budgets, productivity initiatives, and cost-reduction efforts to improve profitability.
• Build relationships with customers, suppliers, corporate leadership, and other stakeholders to support growth.
