McKenney’s is seeking a Director of Pipe Manufacturing to lead our pipe fabrication and assembly operations, aligning with strategic growth objectives and driving capacity planning, process standardization, digital integration, and capital investment.

The role partners with Engineering, VDC, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and field teams to support project execution and field productivity, while advancing continuous improvement and fabrications as a competitive advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in the construction industry.
• 3+ years of direct leadership of teams.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Windows, word processing, spreadsheets, email, and basic database software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute long-term fabrication and manufacturing strategy.
• Transform fabrication into a scalable, technology-enabled operation.
• Set department budgets and manage overhead, capex, and costs.
• Standardize fabrication processes and emphasize Lean and continuous improvement.
• Lead safety, quality, productivity and overall operation performance.
• Oversee standardization of processes and documentation, including welding standards.
• Maintain onboarding and workforce development programs for fabrication staff.
• Drive adoption of digital fabrication tools and ROI analyses.
