Job summary

Rimkus Consulting Group in Houston seeks a Manager, General Ledger & Corporate Accounting to lead the general ledger, close, and controls within our Corporate Accounting organization. This hands-on leadership role offers exposure to ERP transformation, process automation, acquisition integration, and expanded financial reporting.

You will partner with senior leadership, mentor accounting staff, and drive improvements across multiple geographies and entities as the company grows through private

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including general ledger and close.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and general ledger accounting.
• Experience supervising, reviewing, or developing accounting professionals.
• Experience with multi-entity and/or international accounting environments.
• Experience within professional services, engineering, consulting, or other project-based businesses.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with timely delivery.
• Maintain general ledger integrity and accurate journal entries.
• Own balance sheet reconciliations and issue resolution.
• Support consolidated financial reporting across entities and locations.
• Drive process improvements and automation in accounting activities.
• Partner with external auditors and tax advisors.
