Job summary

Unity is seeking a Games Industry Communications Lead to own how Unity shows up across the games ecosystem. You will set strategy, build relationships with trade reporters, creators, and streamers, and lead communications for major product moments with end-to-end execution.

You’ll translate technical news into compelling industry stories, proactively find narratives across the business, and coordinate campaigns across PR, social, creator, and community channels to maximize launch impact.

Qualifications

• Track record in games industry communications (company, agency, or newsroom).
• Established relationships across games media, creators, streamers, and podcasters.
• Fluency in how the games business works (platforms, storefronts, publishing, monetization).
• Experience launching B2B or consumer products with press and audiences.
• Experience owning a communications portfolio independently and setting direction.
• Strong written and verbal communication, capable of executive voice.

Responsibilities

• Own games communications strategy end to end for product launches and partnerships.
• Build and maintain relationships across the games ecosystem with trade reporters and creators.
• Lead tentpole product moments from strategy to launch-day execution.
• Translate product/tech news into industry stories players care about.
• Proactively develop stories showing Unity's direction for the industry.
• Coordinate cross-functional campaigns across PR, social, creator, and community.
• Measure performance and report impact to inform strategy.
