Job summary

Unity is seeking a Games Industry Communications Lead to own how the company shows up across the games ecosystem, from trade press to creators and streamers. You will set strategy, build relationships, and drive narratives with cross-functional partners in communications, marketing, and product.

You will translate complex product news into compelling industry stories and lead tentpole moments, while measuring impact and shaping future plans. Location: New York, NY or related offices.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated track record in communications within the games industry—agency, newsroom or in-house.

Responsibilities

• Own the games communications strategy end to end, including product launches, partner announcements, industry moments, and executive visibility.
• Build and maintain relationships across the games ecosystem with trade reporters, consumer press, creators, streamers, and podcasters.
• Lead communications for tentpole product moments, from positioning and press strategy to activations and launch-day execution.
• Translate product and technical news into stories the industry will cover and players care about.
• Proactively develop stories from across the business showing Unity's path with the games industry.
• Coordinate cross-functional moments across PR, social, creator, and community channels to land launches as one campaign.
• Track, measure, and report on performance to inform strategy and show impact.
