Job summary

Credence is seeking a Future Operations Planner to support the U.S. Space Force S4S S35 Future Operations Division at Vandenberg SFB, CA.

The role requires transitioning campaign plans into contingency plans, developing orders, and staff plans for senior leadership, with a current Top-Secret clearance with SCI, ACCM, and SAP eligibility. The successful candidate will analyze risks, coordinate with mission stakeholders, and assist in joint exercise planning and execution, including extended

Qualifications

• Substantial experience supporting joint future operations or contingency planning.
• Strong knowledge of Joint Publication 5.0, JP 3.0 series, and planning processes.
• Experience developing and staffing operational plans, orders, and leadership decision products.
• Ability to travel and work extended days and shifts during exercise periods.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with S5 Campaign Plans to transition plans into contingency-operational cycles.
• Support joint planning and operations under JP 5.0 and JP 3.0 series.
• Participate in OPTs and produce orders, plans, instructions, and briefing materials.
• Analyze threats, assess risks, and conduct trade-off analyses for warfighter impact.
• Write and staff orders, coordinate meetings, and provide planning expertise to decisions.
• Support Tier 1 and Tier 2 exercise planning and execution when required.
