Job summary

Sigmatech in California is seeking a Future Operations Planner SME to support USSPACECOM J35. You will coordinate with S5/campaign plans, draft orders, and assist in exercise planning to prepare warfighters for future operations.

Requires deep experience writing government content, strategic guidance, and the ability to work independently. Travel up to 25% and a Bachelor's degree or higher are preferred; U.S. citizenship and TS/SCI clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Deep experience in initiating and/or developing Government content for USSPACECOM J35.
• Experience providing strategic advice, technical guidance, and program recommendations.
• Ability to perform tasks quickly and without supervision.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with S5 Campaign Plans to transition JSOPs and plan cycles.
• Support joint planning per JP 5-0 and JP 3-0 series.
• Integrate plans with USSPACECOM and other staff; analyze COOP docs.
• Write and staff orders, plans, and instructions.
• Schedule and set up meetings; inform commander and staff decisions.
• Plan and execute CCMD exercises; support up to 7 CCMD exercises.
• Attend training; use command tools for task management.
• Participate in operational planning teams and produce government-facing documents.
