Job summary

You will join Young Audiences, Inc. of Houston as Development Manager, leading the fundraising strategy to drive revenue for our mission.

You will oversee major gifts, grants, events, and donor relations while collaborating with the leadership team to ensure sustainable growth. Ideal candidates bring at least 2 years of proven fundraising success, excellent communication and presentation skills, and strong project management ability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of fundraising experience and track record.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong public speaking and presentation abilities.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a comprehensive annual development plan.
• Cultivate and steward major donors and partners.
• Oversee grant applications and reporting.
• Prepare development budget and regular progress reports.
• Plan and execute fundraising events.
• Maintain data integrity in Salesforce donor records.
