Job summary

Art with a Heart is seeking a Development Director in Baltimore to lead fundraising strategy and donor relations. You will work closely with the Executive Director and the Board to grow annual revenue across individual, foundation, and corporate giving while refining processes and reporting.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in fundraising, strong communication skills, and a collaborative approach to building partnerships and stewarding donors.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of fundraising experience across corporate, foundation and individual giving.
• Strong written and verbal communications and donor stewardship abilities.
• Organized self-starter with data-driven, strategic planning skills.
• Ability to build relationships and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the annual fundraising strategy across multiple channels.
• Build and manage donor portfolios for the Executive Director and your own prospects.
• Partner with the Executive Director on major donor relationships and strategy.
• Oversee foundation and grant strategy and reporting.
• Lead a corporate sponsorship program and donor stewardship initiatives.
• Own fundraising analytics, reporting, and progress toward goals.
• Support Board fundraising activities and events with leadership input.
• Represent Art with a Heart publicly and cultivate external partnerships.
